Talking seriously for a sec (yep, I can be serious) I do wonder if we shouldn't be more like the europeans when it comes to booze, allow kids a little bit of wine with a meal. A friend at work has done that and her kids aren't particularly interested in alcohol, so rather than demonizing it and then having the kids rebelling and getting plastered all the time her kids don't seem to care about it much.
